Hailed as the "most eloquent compositon on the subject yet" "Evocation: In Memoriam" was written right on the cusp of the one year anniversary as a monument to the unity we all felt immediately after this tragic event as a way to heal and come to terms with the unspeakable loss we all felt.

Composing and choosing a new conductor for the South Carolina Philharmonic are among the daunting tasks Ms. Taylor has been busy with lately. Movements from her new suite were debuted in January at the Unitarian Coffeehouse before the ink was even dry on the page.

On April 5 at 7:PM at the Koger Center in Columbia, South Carolina Ms. Taylor's violin work will he featured in Ligeti's Concert Romanesc conducted by Miriam Burns. For tickets go to www.scphilharmonic.com
